NB Please Note
Waves, NOT Curls: This device is a wave styler, and not a curling device.
Design: The heating rods of the device are small and designed to produce four types of beautiful waves. The heating rods are not designed to produce curls.
While the heating rods are small, the weight (660g) and total size of the device is solid, to perform as required.
Hair Length: The wave styler is not suitable for short hair.
Clip: Please be aware that the clip function / locking mechanism is particularly delicate.
Safety Switch-Off Function: The wave styler features a safety switch-off function. After approx. 25 minutes, the LED temperature display starts to flash to remind you about the automatic switch-off. If you want to use the wave styler for longer than 30 minutes, switch the device off and then immediately on again. The safety switch-off function is then reset to activate again in 30 minutes.
How to Get the Most Out of Your Wave Styler
1. Dry your hair thoroughly before using the wave styler.
2. Make sure that your hair is clean and free from styling products. This excludes special products designed to help your hair when shaping waves.
3. Comb your hair to get rid of any tangles.
4. Turn the rotary wheel to set the desired wave size created by the middle heating rod, either beach waves, natural waves, mermaid waves or water waves.
5. Switch on the wave styler and set your temperature per the instruction manual. The device is pre-set to 160°C when it is switched on and will be shown in the LED temperature display
6 Separate your hair into individual sections with a width of approx. 2-4 cm. Hold the strands taut.
7. Place the section of hair between the heating rods starting at the roots. Make sure that you do not touch your scalp with the heating rods.
8. Press the handle of the wave styler shut so that the hair section is enclosed by the heating rods. Exert a small amount of pressure and hold this position for a few seconds.
9. Release the handle of the wave styler. Place the wave styler a little lower on the hair section so that the part that has already been styled is not done again.
10. Repeat the application along the entire length of the hair section.
